Not only do we address your investment, wealth management, and retirement planning needs, but we are keen on educating you through periodic economic and market information and communication, including booklets, e-mails, client events, and more. We continually strive to improve every aspect of our practice for our clients and evolve in delivering a personalized experience.
We have developed a system designed to prevent clients from being left behind or ignored. It’s a plan that helps us ensure our clients are contacted either by phone, mail, e-mail, or in-person meeting every three months. We have a check list that is periodically reviewed to ensure our clients are receiving the guidance and service they have requested from the first day they decided to work with us.
Robert began his investment industry career in 1979 and joined Stifel in 2009. Prior to joining Stifel, he developed a broad array of experience working for firms such as The Robinson-Humphrey Company, Smith Barney, and UBS Financial Services.
Robert’s investment approach begins with developing a thorough understanding of his clients’ financial needs and goals while taking close consideration of their risk tolerance and time horizon. Once this is established, he implements a consultative process to align his clients’ investments with their goals. As a portfolio manager in Stifel’s Solutions Program, he manages assets on a discretionary basis using a pre-screened investment approach for clients in this program. This enables him to quickly react to market conditions when implementing these clients’ investment strategies. The result is customized investment management, with strategies tailored to his clients’ specific needs or objectives.
Robert earned a B.B.A. from the University of Georgia, where he served as president of the Inter Fraternity Council and a member of the UGA golf team.
A lifelong resident of Macon, Robert has been active in his community. He served as a founding director of First Macon Bank, past president of Sha’arey Israel Synagogue, board member of the Medcen Foundation, professional advisory board member to the Community Foundation of Central Georgia, and was on the board of visitors for The McDuffie Center of Strings at Mercer University.
Robert and his wife, Carol, have been married for 42 years. They enjoy traveling and playing golf and spending quality time with their children and grandchildren. Robert is a past president of Wade Hampton Golf Club in Cashiers, North Carolina, and a member of Idle Hour Club in Macon.
The Solutions program requires a minimum investment, which varies by strategy. Ask your Financial Advisor for a Disclosure Brochure, which further outlines the fees, services, exclusions, and disclosures associated with this program. Since all investment decisions in a Solutions account are made by the Financial Advisor without having to receive prior client approval, it is paramount that Solutions clients have detailed knowledge of the Financial Advisor’s individual investment philosophy and decision-making process before entrusting him or her with their portfolio. You should consider all terms and conditions before deciding whether the Solutions Program and any particular strategy are appropriate for your needs.
